My small history of car ownership

Only being 21 my vehicle history is hell of lot more boring.

My first car was a blue 'super deluxe' 1981 626, had electric sunroof, central locking, headlight washers and all the other fancy stuff mazda was showing off with back then.
My second car was a yellow 1979 626, started out as an auto, put the manual out of the 1981 in it, would have put a 1jz in it, but it started deteriorating very quickly and ended up getting written off. Got my $800 bucks market value = me happy.
My fourth and ongoing car is the 2jz 929 which im sure everyone knows about by now.
My fifth car is a 2003 2.5T XT Forester which will remain standard and used as the daily and beach trips. Only mods will be STI TMIC, bullbar and sump guard. Runs 14.9 standard which will do me for around town.

Not a lot, but slowly growing.

Yep they sure were. Had the MA20 motor. I lived on 2km of dirt road so kept me happy growing up and learnt a lot about controlling a car, ha ha.

Some of the other cars in my family.

SR20de KE25 corolla

1968 Toyota crown wagon with 7mge (needs work)

KE30 corolla with sr20det, last made 300rwhp, not getting rebuilt with a gt3076r and a six point cage.

1966 HR Holden with 304 and gt42r.

Along with others like supercharged calais, HG Holden brougham, but thats a bit of background. My old man use to drag race so i think it rubbed off on the kids.

Just thought i would post some pics of my Forester, seeing as though its what i drive everyday. Since buying it i have taken it up the beach, down some very rough rock tracks (not again with lift), taken it to the drags (14.9@90mph) and fitted a SubaXtreme bullbar.

Just saw this thread now. I remember that green KE30 on rollaclub. I use to be Tiger on the Rollaclub forums. I had my corolla fetish for a while there too. But I was missing the old school limo feel, so back to the 929 I went :)

Nice gallery in here, man :)

Cheers mate, yeah the corollas are one of my brothers.

An update on the forester. Its now got some driving lights on the bullbar, a home made bash plate, roof basket, some yokohama AT/s tyres and a 2" lift kit.

With the all-terrains and roof basket

And it on Fraser Island after a week there. Did 550kms on the island in the week, with 250kms of inland tracks and never got stuck. Its a weapon on the sand.
