929 is the smallest palindromic prime whose cube can be expressed as the sum of three odd cubes: 929^3 = 69^3 + 447^3 + 893^3.

929 has a representation as a sum of two squares: 929 = 20^2 + 23^2.

929 is the hypotenuse of a primitive Pythagorean triple: 929^2 = 129^2 + 920^2.

The Mazda 929 automobile was introduced in 1973.

I was thinking about that over lunch just about a week ago too... and I thought... NAAAAH! I still won't get me roots :p hahaha

Interesting though, if you're mathematically involved.
