Will we ever see the 9 again?

Post by chevyboy6902 » Sat Feb 27, 2010 4:04 am

Mazda could come back out with the 929 again all they would have to do is take a few pointers from the new ford taurus sho and it could be done. yes it is true that mazda has no clue on how to market a full on luxury sedan in to the market but maybe they just need to try a little bit harder on marketing and less on all the useless crap that one company can stick into a car and still keep it affordable. i mean think about it the taurus was a pile of crap since 99 when they did away with the goog parts that made the car great. The model had no flare and people lost intrest. but after taking a look at the design and quality the brought it back and it is a great car to buy and own again. sorry for the rant but it's just a thought. :wut:

in order for the 9 to come back, they would have to either borrow a big displacement ford motor, or design a new one... Same goes with the platform.. unless they use the cx7 chassis.... we can only hope!

nah, seems like that mazda is no longer interested in luxury sedans. they already got pretty big line of cars anyway, dont think so they want another 9...
it will be great, but then again how many of us would be able to buy one?:))

i mean if they dump the Cx9 there would be room for it. Mazda does need one, i think because the 6 isnt Luxury at all.. its way too sporty. And the Genesis was a big hit, so i think america would like to see another Cheaper Big japanese sedan, other than the Infinitis and the big expensive LS.

i wish i coudl talk to a mazda ceo and ask them about the 929...lol
