another old mazda for me!

I had the opportunity to save a running rx7 from the crusher... i had no choice!

The car runs top notch, idles good and everything.

Car needed a Driveshaft to move, so i found one on CL locally, installed it, and today it moved on its own will up and down the street like it should. Just to see how it felt, got it for really cheap...

Next move was gonna be brake master cylinder, but that maybe be overshadowed by the 5spd conversion sooner than later. Instead of wasting money on a brake master cylinder..

My plan with this car is a fun, car that i can take out and beat on...after driving a big heavy low boat for the past year and a half, im going crazy.

5spd conversion
Sunroof needs replacing
Suspension is toast
Wheels/Tires
Brakes need work
New Exhaust
Needs to be repainted, has spray paint job

but the ole 13b runs good which was my biggest worry....

Top stuff! :)
I LOVE that shape RX7! (Sure, the Series 6 and 7 were just sexy as, but these Series 4-5 RX7s are just tough!)

Keen to see the resto on this one.

i need all the info i can get, im still learning. Thankfully this ones motor is in tip top running condition. So i dont have much work to do, besides replacing some vaccum hoses. But it cranks everytime and idles perfect.

i know you Aussies do seom crazy things to these Rotaries!

Yeah, I used to work across the road from Promaz Automotive (Simon worked on my first 929). SelectMaz, Dalton Automotive, Maztech of Melbourne, these are just a few in Victoria that have some crazy buzzers flying down the 1/4 mile strips.
NSW boys get up and move, too.

I've seen what these cars are capable of :)

And lucky for you, that you've got minimal work required on the motor.

no not at all, its not going anywhere. I just needed something with a better aftermarket, and something i can take out and have fun in. Rather than just cruise around, and look pretty. im gonna take soem time off with the 9 and do some much needed maintenance on it.
