every single time i get under my car i get more and more surprises.
here is one of them:
Image

yeah a shredded bumpstop...no wonder my upper control arm kept on hitting the firewall...
it actually fell out of the shock when i jacked up the car

and another thing is bent shock...so yeah getting spring compressors this week and will swap springs and shocks over...still got my original suspension...
but um yeah...that explains why i have toe/camber problem on front left corner...17mm difference in camber...
and i should have my rims back tomorrow and off to get tires sorted.going 255 35 this time because of stupid new laws about stretching...
well stretch will remain the same because im going with a 35 profile...my old size was 245 40...

well you gotta pay to play as they say on VSC...and i kinda do lol...minimal $$ damage, so far ive spent $70 on new tie rods.and then i have my spare shocks...and then all i need is wheel bearing which is going to set me back $300 including labour.

well yeah i do want to bag it...but since i want to ride very low, it will cost quiet a bit to make fully custom suspension to make it work...
so ive decided to go with custom made springs with higher spring rates and shortened shocks and possibly nolathane bushes all around to make it even more stiff...all this will be fully road legal and certed for less than $1500nzd plus nolathane...(500ish).
this works out much cheaper then importing used adjusties+ cert+bushes and i can be as low as i want to...
yah yah it will be very impractical but i barely drive this thing anyway so it wont matter and as long as i know where im driving i should be fine.and ofcourse i have to make sure that i can clear my drive way...(one of the main reasons why its taking us so long to find a new place lol, wifey is a bit pissy but meh, my car lol)

got my mags back today..all fixed, got tires aswell..went with a 35 profile this time...it looks pretty good since sentias guards arent that big anyways so it doesnt look as bulky as 40s did.

i managed to finally finish one of the headlights
i just added bulb shields so it doesnt blind anyone...
it is abit hazy in the corners but i cant get to them with my current buffer pad...once i find pad small enough i'll open them up again and rebuff them...other wise they came out almost mint...
