Drive a '87 Mazda 929 HC 3.6 V6 (stroked) with turbo. Never ever selling that one.

It was originally "just" a 3.0 V6 N/A, but something happened on the way.

- changed the tops from 16V to 24V, original parts of course.
- stroked 0.6 liters, added stroke
- custombuilt dual exhaust with parts from Borla
- original 929 turboconvertion done, was hugely popular in japan, just a few sold in europe. never made it to the US, as far as I know. Did not pass the emmisiontests.
- streghtened rear differential
- strengthened front suspension, the rear one has just recieved heavy duty springs.
- new 16" wheels, clean and maybe boring, but still stylish. why advertise? I like driving a sleeper.
- Macrom amp, Pioneer speakers front and rear, Pioneer AVIC HD1BT navigationsystem with DVD/CD and 20GB harddisc for storing music.

More done, and more to come. It reaches well over 260hp today, and that's just enough. Next mission is to pull the whole ting appart again and repaint the car all over, inside and out.
This was from Facebook. Club Mazda. Discussion title: What do you drive? Modified?

Interesting, hey!

Hmmm, interesting. But why bother? A 3.6L is still small, and 260hp is hardly bragging rights for the money he would have spent. Good to see theres some others out there giving it a go though.
