A recall is underway for the brand-new Mazda6 range, affecting around 15,000 cars globally - including 1531 models in Australia.
Announced locally today, Mazda says the recall is to rectify "a potential quality issue" with the vehicle's electrical system.
The fault is understood to be with the DC/DC converter positioned behind the new 'i-eLoop' energy regeneration system, responsible for converting brake energy into power for the climate control and other systems.
