1. Domestic Production
Mazda’s total domestic production volume in January 2010 increased for the second consecutive month, growing 122.6% compared to January 2009 due to increased production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda2 (Demio): 11,330 units (up 64.0% year-on-year)

2. Overseas Production
Posting a year-on-year increase for the eighth consecutive month, Mazda’s overseas production volume in January 2010 improved 97.4% on January 2009, reflecting healthy production of passenger vehicles.

Mazda’s total domestic sales volume in January 2010 increased for the fourth consecutive month, growing 23.7% year-on-year due to healthy sales of passenger vehicles.
Mazda’s registered vehicle market share was 5.9% (down 0.2 points year-on-year), with a 3.4% share of the micro-mini segment (up 0.1 points year-on-year) and a 5.0% total market share (unchanged year-on-year).
