-- Top 50 Mazda Dealers of 2009 Recognized For Excellence in Sales and Customer Loyalty --
IRVINE, Calif. - Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) today announced the 2009 members of its prestigious Mazda President's Club. Since 1988, Mazda's President's Club has recognized the top 50 Mazda dealerships in combined sales and customer loyalty performance.
Membership to the Mazda President's Club is awarded to dealers who excel in selling Mazda vehicles and building customer loyalty. Within each sales volume group, dealerships' sales and customer loyalty rankings are assigned a numeric weight. The eligible dealers, whose combined rankings in these two categories place them among the top dealers in their sales volume group, qualify for membership.
"Due to economic uncertainty and downturn in the automotive industry, the marketplace has evolved dramatically with new levels of commitment to our family of customers," said Jim O'Sullivan, president and CEO of MNAO. "The dealerships that deliver the best sales experience and grow their customer loyalty will thrive in this environment.
