Gauge cluster

I have the crappy digital gauges (maybe you like them but i don't lol) and I remembered hearing that they swap right out with analog gauges. Is this true? The car they are coming from is a 929 S. Also if I wanted the DOHC engine, what would I need to grab? computer, wire harness and engine, anything...

My problems thread

1988 Mazda 929 Car has been giving me a big headache. Oh well, still love it. Been doing a few things today with it, tested different stuff. The car would start, rev smooth while cold, warm up, try to idle and die. Anytime it goes near or under 1K RPM, it stutters REALLY bad. Once warm tho, it dies....

Re: HC Front Door Window Repare/Cleaning

I wish I had your setup. Where the motor pulls a cable. My motor pulls on a bunch of little "balls" and they are so worn, they just click when you try to rull up the window. So annoying. Wonder if I can replace them with your type?

Fuel Injectors

I went to the junk yard to grab some more injectors. The ones I got from the donor car (also a 929 with a SOHC) are pink, with pink connectors. The ones that were on my car are green.

I was wondering if these had different flow rates because the car still runs pretty rough, even more so now.

Re: New here

You think it runs like crap if you don't change the oil. Try not tightening down the fuel rails enough and having major leaks from the injectors lol
